Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our IT operations team as an
Apprentice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining midrange systems, ensuring operational stability, and adhering to company policies and procedures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments, working with technologies such as on prem and cloud servers and storages
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage midrange systems and scheduled jobs.
- Perform routine system health checks and escalate issues as needed.
- Assist in system backups, restores, configuration of licenses and patch management.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system activities and changes.
Qualifications - External
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of midrange systems
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and system monitoring tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a dynamic IT environment.
