We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop innovative .NET-based web applications, platforms, and products. You will be responsible for building solutions from the ground up, maintaining existing systems, mentoring team members, and collaborating directly with stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys end-to-end ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs and scalable application modules.
- Participate in requirements analysis and solution design.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Implement unit tests and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver user-friendly features.
- Focus on data governance, application security, and performance optimization.
- Manage modules independently while mentoring junior engineers.
- Contribute actively as a strong Agile team member.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
Skills & Competencies
- 6+ years of professional hands-on experience in developing web applications, platforms or products using Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MS SQL Server).
- Strong hands-on experience in Web API developement, Entity Framework.
- Strong grasp on data structures, algorithms, and OOPS concepts.
- Strong grasp of SOLID principles and software architecture.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud Services & DevOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation practices.
- Proven experience in team mentorship or module leadership.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
AI & Productivity Skills
- Practical hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants to improve speed, code quality, refactoring, documentation, and testing.
- Ability to use AI tools for generating boilerplate code, validating requirements, writing test cases, debugging, and improving overall engineering efficiency.
- Mindset to continuously leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks, reduce defects, and enhance delivery quality.
