A software development project/program manager (PM) to orchestrate software development lifecycle (SDLC) by defining project scope, setting budgets, managing timelines, and aligning technical teams with business objectives. They facilitate communication between developers and stakeholders, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery using methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
The candidate should have driven large multi vendor, mutli location projects with team size of more than 30 people. A good knowledge is Jira management and reporting is a must. He/She should have experience in leadership connect, presenting status to senior management.
Key Responsibilities In Software Development
- Planning and Scope Management: Defining project goals, creating detailed plans, and avoiding "scope creep" .
- Team Leadership and Resource Allocation: Assigning tasks to developers, designers, and QA engineers, managing team morale, and removing roadblocks.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential technical or logistical issues early and implementing contingency plans.
- Budgeting and Scheduling: Managing costs and ensuring the project adheres to deadlines.
- Communication and Reporting: Acting as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders/clients, providing regular progress updates.
