Job Title: Unity VR Developer, Minimum 5+ Years of Relevant Experience
Introduction & Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Unity VR Developer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong C# programming skills and the ability to create custom VR applications. A deep understanding of the Unity Editor library, UI/UX development, and expertise in Virtual Reality technology is essential for the success in this role.
Main Responsibilities:
The developer will be responsible for:
- Creating user interfaces and icons for custom applications.
- Importing custom UI into Unity and assigning functionalities using C#.
- Implementing Occlusion Culling for optimizing 3D environments.
- Utilizing HDRP for realistic rendering of VR environments.
- Performing testing and debugging to ensure optimal application performance.
Key Requirements:
- Unity: Highly proficient in C# programming for creating custom VR applications.
- Unity Editor: Familiarity with the Unity Editor Library and inbuilt functions.
- UI: Experience with UI tools to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Virtual Reality: Knowledge of the XR toolkit (STEAMVR) and experience in developing applications for VR glasses.
- Unity Editor Tools: Understanding of modules like Tutorial Framework, Scene optimization, Occlusion Culling, and HDRP.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in app packaging, training, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Knowledge of optimizing Unity scene files through profiling.
