About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Angular and emerging leadership capabilities to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing a next-generation clinical research and healthcare operations platform tailored for a US-based healthcare client. This platform encompasses functionalities such as patient outcomes tracking, clinical workflows, research analytics, and healthcare data integrations. The role emphasizes front-end development using Angular, combined with robust backend services built on NestJS, Prisma ORM, and MariaDB. Beyond hands-on coding, the candidate will contribute to technical leadership activities including guiding best practices, mentoring junior developers, participating in architecture discussions, and ensuring high standards of engineering quality. Additionally, the role involves integrating AI-enabled features such as Generative AI workflows and voice agents to enhance patient engagement and clinical automation. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within India, collaborating with US healthcare teams, product managers, and engineers within an agile environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with three to six years of full-stack development experience. Demonstrated experience in leading technical initiatives or guiding development teams is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team environment are critical. Candidates should have a proven track record of developing scalable web applications, expertise in Angular (version 18+), and proficiency with Angular Material. Solid experience with Node.js, NestJS, Prisma ORM, and SQL databases such as MariaDB is required. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, version control systems like Git, and API testing and documentation tools such as Postman and Swagger will be advantageous. Knowledge of healthcare standards like HL7 / FHIR and experience working in healthcare, clinical research, or digital health platforms are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable full-stack applications utilizing Angular and NestJS frameworks. This includes building responsive UI components with Angular Material, developing backend APIs and services, and designing optimized database schemas using Prisma ORM and MariaDB. The role involves integrating AI capabilities, including Generative AI workflows and voice-based healthcare assistants, to create intelligent patient interaction tools. Participation in technical architecture discussions and solution design is vital, along with providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. The candidate will review code, enforce development standards, and promote best practices across the team. Implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using providers like Okta or Auth0, writing automated tests with Jest, and utilizing development tools such as Docker, Swagger, and Postman are essential responsibilities. Collaboration within an agile environment, working closely with cross-functional teams, product managers, and healthcare professionals, is also a key aspect of this role.
