About the Role
We are looking for a Web Development Intern to join our remote development team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in frontend and backend development, responsive web design, APIs, databases, and modern web technologies.
You’ll work on real-world projects, build functional web applications, and collaborate with developers and other team members to create reliable and user-friendly digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications
- Build frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Work with modern frameworks such as React.js or similar technologies
- Assist with backend development using Node.js, Express, Python, or similar technologies
- Develop and integrate REST APIs
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages
- Debug and troubleshoot website and application issues
- Optimize applications for performance and responsiveness
- Use Git and GitHub for version control
- Test websites across different browsers and devices
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, and design teams
- Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code
- Document development work and project processes
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with React.js is a plus
- Basic understanding of frontend and backend development
- Familiarity with REST APIs is preferred
- Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Understanding of responsive web design
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn modern web technologies
- Own laptop and stable internet connection
