Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding and supporting teams throughout the design and delivery phases, ensuring that development standards are maintained. The position focuses on aligning software performance and scalability with the broader business goals, while fostering collaboration and innovation within the team to meet project milestones effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong knowledge in Java/J2EE.
- Strong knowledge in Spring Boot and Java Micro services.
- Good knowledge in Oracle SQL queries - able to write queries, stored procedures, views and joins.
- Good to have knowledge on Apache Kafka.
- Nice to have domain knowledge on Trade lifecycle.
- Nice to have hands on MS Azure cloud - like for e.g. Azure web app / Azure functions.
- Ability to write JUnit Tests and Integration tests using Mockito framework.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with software architecture design and implementation.
- Ability to optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Java (Programming Language).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
