EHS Manager
Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai
We are looking for an experienced
EHS Manager for its Project Management Services (PMS) division to oversee Environment, Health & Safety activities for a prestigious
high-rise residential project.
The role will be responsible for ensuring
statutory compliance, implementation of EHS systems, contractor safety management, risk control, incident prevention, and development of a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline - Mandatory.
- ADIS / NEBOSH / PGDISM or equivalent EHS certification.
- Additional certifications in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Fire Safety, First Aid, etc., will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant EHS experience in the construction/real estate sector.
- Hands-on experience in high-rise residential apartment projects of 30+ storeys is mandatory.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and monitor project-specific EHS policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, HIRA, and risk assessments, ensuring timely closure of observations.
- Manage high-risk construction activities including:
- Work at height
- Lifting operations
- Excavation
- Scaffolding
- Electrical works
- Confined space entry
- Hot work
- Review Method Statements, JSA, Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation.
- Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and statutory reporting.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and contractor awareness programs.
- Monitor contractor compliance and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain EHS records, dashboards, KPIs, statutory documentation, and audit records.
- Support internal, client, and regulatory audits.
- Drive continuous improvement in project safety standards and promote a strong EHS culture.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian EHS regulations and statutory requirements.
