As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves monitoring and managing application performance to ensure seamless operation. You will engage in troubleshooting issues, coordinating with various teams to resolve incidents promptly, and maintaining system stability. The role requires continuous observation of application environments, responding to alerts, and supporting deployment activities. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand system requirements and contribute to process improvements is also a key part of daily responsibilities, ensuring that applications meet business needs effectively and efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in documenting support procedures and knowledge base articles to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth application deployments and updates.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines within cloud environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tools related to Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud-based applications and services.
- Understanding of version control systems and release management processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
