As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, thereby supporting the overall business objectives effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of application issues and minimize downtime.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement best practices for application support and incident management.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft Administration.
- Experience in managing and maintaining PeopleSoft environments including installation, configuration, and patching.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex application and system issues.
- Knowledge of database management and integration with PeopleSoft applications.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to support business processes and system enhancements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
