About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead-Full Stack Developer specializing in Angular and NestJS to join our dynamic team remotely from India. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining a next-generation clinical research and healthcare operations platform tailored for a US-based healthcare client. Your expertise will contribute to building a comprehensive system supporting patient outcomes tracking, clinical workflows, research analytics, and healthcare data integrations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Angular front-end development, coupled with experience in backend technologies such as NestJS, Prisma ORM, and MariaDB. Beyond hands-on development, you will take on technical leadership responsibilities, guiding best practices, mentoring junior developers, and participating in architectural discussions to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. Additionally, you will work on integrating AI-enabled features, including Generative AI workflows and Voice Agent integrations, to enhance patient engagement and clinical automation. This position offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with US healthcare teams, product managers, and engineering colleagues to drive innovation and impact.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3 to 6 years of full-stack development experience. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in guiding technical initiatives and mentoring team members are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team environment are also required. Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering scalable web applications, working with modern web frameworks, and participating in technical design and code reviews.
Responsibilities
As a Tech Lead-Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable, full-stack applications utilizing Angular (v18+) and NestJS. You will build responsive, user-friendly UI components using Angular Material and develop robust backend APIs and services with Node.js and NestJS. Your role will involve designing and optimizing database schemas with Prisma ORM and MariaDB, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
You will be responsible for integrating Generative AI capabilities and voice-based healthcare assistants to enable advanced patient interaction workflows. Participating in technical architecture discussions and solution design will be critical in shaping the platform’s future. You will provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and enforcing development standards to maintain high-quality codebases.
Security will be a priority, and you will implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using providers like Okta or Auth0. Additionally, you will write automated tests with Jest, utilize Docker for containerization, and employ tools such as Git, Swagger, and Postman to streamline development workflows. Collaboration within an agile team environment will be essential to meet project milestones and deliver innovative healthcare solutions.
