Program Associate - Sustainability & Social Impact

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 1-3 Years

About the Opportunity

We are hiring Program Associate on behalf of a leading sustainability-focused organization working at the intersection of sustainability, climate action, innovation, youth engagement, and ecosystem development.

Selected candidate will be aligned with one of the following focus areas based on organizational requirements, candidate strengths, experience, and areas of interest:

• Sustainability & Regeneration Programs

• Climate Innovation & Entrepreneurship

• Youth & Institutional Partnerships

While each focus area has a distinct mandate, all Program Associates will contribute to research, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, program coordination, and execution.

About the Role

We are looking for high-agency individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, take ownership of projects, and contribute across research, partnerships, program operations, ecosystem engagement, and impact tracking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1.Research & Documentation

a.Support the development of project briefs, concept notes, presentations, reports, and stakeholder-facing materials.

b.Conduct research on:

• Sustainability and climate action initiatives
• Restoration methodologies and regenerative practices
• Climate finance opportunities and CSR priorities
• Startup ecosystems and innovation trends
• Education, youth engagement, and institutional partnerships
• Community development and social impact programs

2.Stakeholder Engagement & Outreach

a.Build and maintain databases of:

• CSR leaders and corporate partners
• Foundations and philanthropic organizations
• Educational institutions and youth networks
• Sustainability and ecosystem stakeholders
• Startups, incubators, accelerators, and innovation hubs

b. Support outreach, follow-ups, stakeholder communication, and relationship management activities.

3.Ecosystem Mapping & Opportunity Scouting

a.Identify startups, technologies, organizations, and partnership opportunities relevant to:

• Sustainability and climate resilience
• Circular economy and sustainable materials
• Clean energy and environmental innovation
• Soil regeneration, water management, and biodiversity
• Youth leadership and institutional engagement

b.Assist in evaluating potential collaborations, pilots, partnerships, and ecosystem opportunities.

4.Program Coordination & Operations

a.Support planning and execution of:

• Workshops and ecosystem events
• Leadership programs and conferences
• Innovation challenges and accelerator initiatives
• Institutional engagement programs
• Community and stakeholder engagement activities

b.Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, track action items, and ensure smooth program execution.

5.Impact Tracking, Reporting & Communications

a.Support collection, organization, and analysis of program data and impact metrics.

b. Assist in tracking outcomes related to environmental, social, innovation, and community initiatives.

c.Prepare presentations, reports, summaries, outreach materials, stakeholder updates, and program communications.

d.Maintain trackers, dashboards, and documentation to support decision-making and reporting.
