Role Description The Software Developer will design, build, test, and maintain software solutions that power the UNIPREP platform. In this full-time remote role, the developer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement new features, optimize back-end services, and improve system performance and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, participating in code reviews, debugging and resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to secure development practices. The developer will also contribute to technical documentation, support deployment activities, and continuously refine the platform based on user feedback and business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
- Experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side architectures.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
