About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize web applications across both frontend and backend systems, with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks,
React.js, Next.js, Node.js, API development, and database management, while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications across frontend and backend technologies.
- Build responsive, performant interfaces using React.js (and Next.js where applicable).
- Develop scalable, secure backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend systems and third-party services.
- Design, develop, and optimize database structures and queries.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional applications.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Work closely with product, design, QA, and development teams through the SDLC.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Technical Skills
Frontend Development (Required)
- Strong proficiency in React.js — Hooks, Context API, component lifecycle, state management.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, CSS Grid, and responsive design.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, or styled-components/CSS-in-JS.
- Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or Zustand).
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and frontend performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of Next.js (SSR/SSG, routing, image optimization).
Backend Development (Required)
- Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth).
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Knowledge of backend security best practices and performance optimization.
- Understanding of server-side architecture and scalability.
Database Management (Required)
- Experience with a relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL), a NoSQL database (MongoDB) — hands-on experience with at least one is required; familiarity with both is a plus.
- Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot database queries.
- Understanding of database design, indexing, and normalization.
- Experience with an ORM/ODM (Prisma, Sequelize, or Mongoose).
Tools & Technologies (Required)
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with Webpack or Vite, npm/yarn.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort working in Linux environments.
Testing & QA (Required)
- Frontend: Jest and React Testing Library.
- Backend: basic exposure to Mocha/Jest with Supertest (or similar) for API testing.
- Familiarity with Postman or similar API testing tools.
Design Collaboration (Required — adjusted)
- Ability to read and accurately implement Figma (or similar) designs.
- Understanding of responsive, mobile-first design principles.
- Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- (Note: hands-on design-tool proficiency is not required — implementation fidelity is.)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with GraphQL.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to frontend/backend performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Sentry).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
