About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join our remote team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic WordPress websites tailored to client specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating custom themes, implementing responsive and user-friendly designs, and integrating various plugins and web technologies to optimize website functionality. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. The position offers flexible work arrangements and operates on a commission-based payment structure, rewarding your contributions directly based on project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in front-end development, including responsive web design and user interface creation.
• Experience in back-end web development, particularly with WordPress, custom themes, and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, especially WooCommerce, is considered an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques to enhance site visibility and performance.
• Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Maintain and update existing WordPress sites, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements as needed.
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and adhere to best practices for website performance and security.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments, tools, and industry trends to continually enhance skills and project quality.
