About The Role
Job Title: L2 Infrastructure Engineer - Data
Key Responsibilities
Must-have skills
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise network support or operations, with the ability to own incidents, service requests, and maintenance tasks through closure
- Solid Cisco routing and switching fundamentals, including VLANs, STP, OSPF basics, port channels, access/distribution/core concepts, and WAN edge awareness.
- Working knowledge of SD-WAN and enterprise wireless support, including AP provisioning, SSID/VLAN changes, client troubleshooting, and 802.1X basics
- Practical experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and SolarWinds NPM, NCM, IPAM, and SAM for monitoring, backups, and operational support.
- Proven ability to manage change requests, troubleshoot with Cisco TAC or ISP providers, and document actions clearly in ITSM tools while meeting SLA targets.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Cisco CCNA certification and deeper familiarity with Cisco Nexus switching platforms, including NX-OS, vPC, and fabric architecture.
- Hands-on exposure to Cisco SD-WAN vManage/Viptela and Cisco DNA Center or Catalyst Center for provisioning and health monitoring.
- Experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC, especially in environments where network and application delivery overlap.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing network environments, including OT-adjacent switching and plant-floor change control.
- ITIL Foundation and familiarity with remote troubleshooting using out-of-band access tools such as Opengear or equivalent console servers.
