About Position
The Senior Java Backend Engineer ? Spring Boot & Microservices is responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using modern Java technologies. This role focuses on building RESTful APIs, implementing microservices and BFF patterns, and ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications such as Angular SPAs. The position requires deep expertise in the Spring ecosystem, strong knowledge of system design, and hands-on experience with CI/CD and containerized deployments to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop backend services using Java (17+) and Spring Boot framework
- Build RESTful APIs and define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
- Implement secure and scalable solutions using Spring Security and authentication mechanisms
- Apply BFF (Backend for Frontend) pattern to optimize frontend-backend interactions
- Integrate backend services with Angular SPAs, handling CORS, sessions, cookies, and error handling
- Develop data access layers using Spring Data JPA and optimize database performance
- Implement concurrent and asynchronous processing using Java concurrency features
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
- Containerize applications using Docker for consistent deployment environments
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards using Git workflows
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous improvements
Expertise You'll Bring
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (Java 17+) including collections, streams, concurrency, generics, and JVM fundamentals
- Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA
- Proven experience in designing REST APIs and working with OpenAPI/Swagger
- Solid understanding of BFF pattern and microservices architecture principles
- Experience integrating backend services with Angular or similar SPA frameworks
- Knowledge of authentication flows, session/cookie management, and CORS handling
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and DevOps practices
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Proficiency in Git workflows including trunk-based or GitFlow development
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
