About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / CI/CD Engineer to join our dynamic technology team at UST. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess over 9 years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD engineering, demonstrating a strong technical background and hands-on expertise. Proficiency in GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines is essential, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization. Experience with Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting is required, complemented by strong scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Snyk and SonarQube is highly desirable. Candidates should also have practical knowledge of containerization using Docker, version control systems like Git, and branching strategies. A comprehensive understanding of build, release, and deployment processes is critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Implement containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment pipelines, container environments, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate security practices within CI/CD workflows using tools like Snyk and SonarQube.
- Optimize existing pipelines for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Maintain and improve version control practices, branching strategies, and release management processes.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all deployment activities.
- Monitor system performance and health using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, and implement necessary improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and technologies to continuously enhance infrastructure and processes.
