Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
  • Implement and manage development, testing, and automation tools to improve software delivery efficiency.
  • Provision, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
  • Integrate cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and performance-related issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, and secure DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
