Full Stack Developer 8 + Years
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a self-starter to join our Core Engineering team. You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will get an opportunity to build and contribute to the full lifecycle development and maintenance.
With the Core Engineering team you will get an opportunity to:
Contribute to the vision and design of our internal data platform, implementing solutions across the front-end, back-end, and data layers. Take ownership in the ever-growing platform architecture.
Translate complex business requirements into high-performance software designs and implementations.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Product managers, Architects, Backend engineers, Frontend engineers, and end users to deliver engineering solutions.
Write efficient, maintainable, and robust code while participating in thorough code reviews to ensure the highest quality engineering practices.
Basic Requirements:
A minimum of a BS degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field
Around 8 years of work experience in building scalable and robust full stack solutions
Proven experience contributing to complex projects independently. Experience communicating and working with distributed teams
Experience working with modern Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks like Angular or React
8+ years experience across the full stack, including front-end development, building APIs, and ETL processes
Proven ability to design and manage message queuing and streaming systems such as Amazon SQS or Google PubSub
SQL coding and query optimization experience
8+ years of experience with data modeling techniques for structured datasets
Experience with functional programming (e.g. Scala, Elixir)
Experience with relational databases - Postgres, MySQL, etc.
Demonstrate analytical thinking with strong problem solving skills
Staying on top of emerging technologies and willingness to learn

Experience operating in a CI/CD environment
