Sr. PHP Developer JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities The Web Developer will be primarily responsible for participating in the planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining web based applications.
Collaborating with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web based applications built on various web technologies.
Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
Interacting with project stakeholders to develop storyboards and UX workflows/prototypes.
Providing stylization and theming customizations.
Ensuring cross-browser compatibility across a variety of supported browsers.
Core Competency Requirements Strong proficiency with web technologies such as: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
Proven experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Knockout or Backbone
Experience with developing for cross-browser compatibility
Experience with UX design and prototyping
Server-side web technologies including: MVC3 , PHP, AJAX
CMS including Magento and Wordpress
Forum software such as YAF or PHPBB
Mobile site and application development
Developing and consuming REST services
