Jadestone Energy is an independent oil and gas production company focused on the Asia Pacific region.
In June 2020, Jadestone executed an agreement to acquire an operatorship license in the Lemang Production Sharing Contract (“PSC”), onshore Indonesia, and completed the acquisition in December 2020. The company operates 100% interest in the Lemang PSC, which includes the Akatara gas field development, where first production has been started since first half of 2024.
Outside of Indonesia, the company has a 100%, operated working interest in the Stag oilfield and in the Montara project, both offshore Australia. Both the Stag and Montara assets include oil producing fields, with further development and exploration potential. The Company also has a 16.67% non-operated interest in the Northwest Shelf Oil Project offshore Western Australia, comprising four oil fields containing significant upside potential through potential infill drilling and life extension activities.
Further, the Company has a 100% operated working interest in two gas development blocks in Southwest Vietnam and 70% operated interest in the PM329 PSC, containing the East Piatu field, and a 60% operated interest in the PM323 PSC, which contains the East Belumut, West Belumut and Chermingat fields. In addition, Jadestone also acquired a 50% non-operated working interest in the PM318 and AAKBNLP PSCs, which were operated by PETRONAS Carigali. Most recently, the Company acquired a non-operated 9.52% interest in the Sinphuhorm producing gas field onshore Thailand.

Job Purpose
To ensure that all aspects of Process Safety Management (PSM) in Jadestone Energy (Lemang) Pte. Ltd. facilities run effectively to prevent major accident hazards (MAH) such as fire, explosion, and release of hazardous gases, as well as ensuring compliance with national and international standards. And provide technical leadership and oversight of the company’s Process Safety Management (PSM) system, ensuring all operational and engineering activities are executed in accordance with process safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to prevent major accidents and protect people, assets, and the environment

- Process Safety Management
- Develop, implement, execute, and maintain the company’s Process Safety Management system.
- Ensure all PSM elements run effectively
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, codes, and standards.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) and technical authority for process safety matters.
- Lead and facilitate HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, Bow-Tie, SIL assessments, and other PSM studies.
- Review risk assessment outputs and ensure mitigation measures are identified and implemented.
- Maintain the process safety risk register for all assets.
- Provide process safety input and approval to engineering design deliverables, including: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs); Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs); Safety instrumented systems (SIS); Relief and flare systems; Cause & Effect charts
- Conduct technical reviews, PSSR, and verification of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs).
- Lead and manage the MOC process to ensure changes are risk-assessed, documented, and approved prior to implementation.
- Ensure closure of all actions arising from MOC and process safety reviews.
- Lead or support investigation of process safety incidents and near-misses.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Share lessons learned and integrate them into safety systems.
- Develop and deliver process safety training programs.
- Ensure competency requirements for process safety roles are met.
- Promote a strong process safety culture among employees and contractors.
- Conduct internal process safety audits and participate in regulatory or third-party audits.
- Develop and monitor key process safety KPIs (Tier 1 & Tier 2).
- Prepare regular reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, projects, and HSE teams.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities regarding compliance requirements and audits.
- Support contractor evaluation related to process safety performance.

Qualifications
Education:
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical / Process Engineering preferred)
Experience:
- Min. 10-15 yrs in oil & gas / petrochemical
- Min. 5 yrs in process safety engineering
- Operating Onshore Gas Processing Facility experience would be beneficial
