Job Description

Plan and execute brand PR programs that drive positive media coverage, strengthen public perception, and reinforce the company’s positioning as Indonesia’s leading home improvement retailer.Lead PR agency to strategize press releases, media pitches, and brand narratives in close coordination with the Senior Manager.Monitor the media landscape and competitor communications activity, surfacing risks and opportunities to the Senior Manager & Management on a timely basis.Handle inbound media inquiries on brand and product matters, ensuring responses are accurate, on-message, and appropriately cleared.Govern the communications dimension of KOL and content creator engagements - reviewing briefs, messaging, and disclosures for any activation that carries corporate or reputational exposure, in coordination with the Marketing team.Manage the company’s corporate newsroom and LinkedIn presence as owned-channel platforms for brand narrative, distinct from product or campaign content owned by Digital Marketing.Identify and develop opportunities in non-conventional format (e.g. podcast appearances, long-form editorial, video interviews, trade media, and industry forum participation).Build relationships with digital media editors, lifestyle publications, and retail industry platforms beyond the mainstream press list.Identify, develop, and package compelling customer stories that demonstrate real impact and support the company’s retail leadership narrative.Coordinate end-to-end story production: source story leads from store and operations teams, conduct interviews, and manage approval workflows - supported by agencyCollaborate with the Digital Marketing team to ensure customer stories are amplified consistently across owned digital channels without duplicating effort or misaligning narrative.Serve as the communications bridge between the Corporate Communications function and the Marketing team, ensuring that major campaigns, activations, and product launches carry a coherent corporate-brand narrative layer.Review campaign briefs and public-facing materials (including KOL content, social assets, and promotional communications) for brand voice consistency, reputational risk, and alignment with investor messaging where relevant.Coordinate with Digital Marketing on integrated moments — such as store milestones, price commitments, or CSR activations — where corporate PR and consumer marketing must move together.Flag and escalate to the Senior Manager any campaign or content that could create media, investor, or regulatory exposure before it is published.Ensure consistency between marketing campaign messages (e.g., Harga Tetap Sama, Tumbuh Bersama) and corporate narrative across all external touchpoints.Strategize thought leadership content, op-eds, and executive speaking notes for the management.Curate and maintain the company’s executive voice and public narrative, ensuring consistency with corporate messaging across all channels, including non-conventional formats such as podcasts and long-form interviews.Support media training preparation for executives.Serve as the primary day-to-day contact and manager of the Brand PR Agency, setting briefs, reviewing outputs, and evaluating performance against agreed deliverables.Coordinate with creative and digital production partners on content development as needed.Report agency performance and spend efficiency to the Senior Manager on a periodic basis.Track and report on Brand PR performance across conventional and non-conventional channels: media placements, share of voice, digital reach, sentiment scores, and story publication rate.Compile and present monthly communications dashboards to the Senior Manager.Use data-driven insights to recommend messaging or channel optimizations, including emerging media formats.Support the Senior Manager on investor-facing communications: draft investor messaging, prepare factsheets, and contribute to earnings press release content.Coordinate with Investor Relations, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure material accuracy and IDX/OJK compliance on all externally distributed content.Prepare briefing materials and speaking notes for C-suite executives ahead of analyst calls, investor roadshows, and financial media interviews.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.Minimum 6 years in corporate communications, brand PR, public relations, or a related communications function.Experience in a publicly listed company, retail, FMCG, or consumer environment is strongly preferred.Demonstrated track record of managing agencies, placing stories across conventional and non-conventional media, and supporting senior executive communications.Prior exposure to marketing-communications integration (working alongside or within marketing teams on brand campaigns) is an advantage.Ideally in a publicly listed company, retail, tech/startup, or FMCG industry.Strong writing, editing, and story packaging skills across formats: press releases, op-eds, briefing notes, executive speeches, factsheets, and digital content.Working knowledge of capital markets communications basics: earnings releases, quiet periods, and IDX/OJK regulatory sensitivityExperience developing customer and brand narratives deployable across media, owned digital channels, and investor materials.Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken, to a professional standard.
