Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our team and assist in Sustainability Department. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for an active student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:
    • Assist in data collection, monitoring, and analysis for sustainability programs
    • Support research on renewable energy initiatives, including conversion of diesel-powered equipment to electric
    • Participate in CSR and community development activities
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials
    • Provide administrative support to the department
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Currently enrolled as an active university student (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree) throughout the internship period
  • Active university student (D3/D4/S1) from one of the following relevant majors:
    • Environmental Engineering: Prior experience or academic exposure in conducting Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Familiarity with SimaPro software is preferred
    • Industrial Engineering: With concentration and/or interest in renewable energy
  • Strong interest in sustainability, CSR, and renewable energy
  • Internship placement is available in McDermott Batam and the minimum duration should be done in 6 Months
  • Applicants should not be participating in another internship program
  • Applicants should have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions
