Decent WFH but watch the meeting creep
Overall, it's a pretty good place to work, especially if you value working from home. As a Software Engineer, the initial flexibility was a huge draw. The team is solid, but the meeting schedule can get a bit much sometimes.
The remote work policy is a big plus here. I've been working from home for over a year as a Software Engineer, which is great for my personal life. They're good about letting you set your own schedule, especially if you're hitting your deadlines.
The biggest downside is the sheer number of meetings. For an AI startup, you'd expect more heads-down time, but some days it feels like a constant stream. There isn't much flexibility if you need to adjust hours significantly for appointments during core working hours; it needs manager approval.
Try to cut down on the number of non-essential meetings. Give teams more autonomy to decide their meeting cadence.
