Communicate with users and facility management team of the University to understand their requirements and expectations on technical issues of maintenance works and project progress
Manage and monitor work progress of A&A and improvement works as well as ensure the reliability of architectural works, building fabrics, finishes and structure of the University
Review the existing maintenance standards and policies, monitor contractors’ workmanship and work progress
Supervise and mentor technical staffs, assign tasks, provide feedback and ensure quality standards are met
Ensure services are delivered in compliance with the statutory requirements / regulations, Ordinance and achieve the KPI targets
Lead technical team and manage 3rd party vendors to perform facilities services, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance etc.
Support FM to prepare regular and ad hoc reports to the Client
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for technical issues
Prepare and draft documentations for request of tender and quotation for works relating to architectural works, building fabrics, finishes and structure of the University

Required
Desired experience and technical skills
Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably from facilities management field
Ability to identify and diagnose building defects, understand their causes, and recommend appropriate remedies
Proven experience in managing and supervising technical team
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards is essential
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Fluent in English and Chinese
Ability to work flexible hours when required
Willingness to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours
