Overview
Our client is a leading organisation operating large-scale logistics and operational systems. They are looking for a
Software Engineer to build and enhance
mission-critical applications supporting their
operations, logistics, and enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance web-based applications supporting operational and fleet systems
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and system integrations across platforms
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment)
- Optimise and refactor systems to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Support initiatives to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency through technology
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related disciplines
- With 3-5 years of work experience in software development (preferably in mid-to-large organisations)
- Proficiency in:
- TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Java
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design
- Experience with:
- API development & system integration
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Serverless)
- Docker / containerisation
- ELK stack or monitoring tools
- Knowledge or with practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Co-pilot..etc.) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
- Fluent in English with good command of Chinese
