About Our Client

Job Description
- Provide application support and maintenance for in-house and vendor solutions across the APAC region
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance Java, Python, or Perl applications
- Investigate production incidents and deliver timely resolutions or workarounds
- Support day-to-day business operations through troubleshooting and user assistance
- Improve monitoring capabilities and optimise operational processes
- Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and external vendors
- Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and platform enhancements
- Contribute to project implementation including design reviews, UAT, and production releases
- Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices
- Manage source control, build, and deployment activities using Git and CI/CD tools
- Support Agile delivery initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Participate in on-call support rotation and occasional weekend deployments
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Perl
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux/Unix platforms and shell scripting
- Familiarity with Git and build/deployment tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and release management
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure components including networking and operating systems
- Exposure to financial services, trading, or clearing systems is advantageous
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business users effectively
- Able to work independently and collaborate within regional teams
- Experience working in Agile or other project delivery methodologies
