Seeking a Business Analyst with core banking data migration experience to support transformation projects. Banking operations knowledge required. Short notice preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Support end-to-end core banking data migration projects, ensuring smooth transition of data from legacy platforms to new banking systems.
Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and operational requirements related to migration activities.
Assess existing banking processes, data structures, interfaces, and workflows to identify migration impacts and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and project stakeholders to translate requirements into practical migration and system solutions.
Participate in project lifecycle activities including business analysis, solution design, system integration, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
Coordinate data validation, reconciliation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure data quality and business readiness.
Support change management initiatives, user communications, and training activities throughout the transformation journey.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and facilitate issue resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
Degree holder in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Banking, or related disciplines.
4-5 years of Business Analyst experience within banking or financial services projects.
Hands-on experience in core banking data migration projects is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and processes across deposits, payments, customer information, and transaction management.
Exposure to customer data, loan portfolios, General Ledger (GL), or financial data migration would be a significant advantage.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology and project management tools such as JIRA.
Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, hands-on, and able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
Candidates with short notice or immediate availability will be highly preferred.
