A well-established international group is seeking an experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant to join their global finance team.
The Role
- Support the full spectrum of accounting activities for several regional entities including , including but not limited to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, United States, Netherlands, Japan, Vietnam, and Canada
- Work closely with local accounting service providers to ensure accurate financial / management reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial operations across the business.
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA for daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and data analysis
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting
- Review and monitor accounting records prepared by local accounting service firms and external accountants
- Coordinate with overseas service providers on statutory reporting, tax filings, payroll matters, and regulatory compliance
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and management reports
- Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidation support
- Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors across multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury-related activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and local accounting regulations
- Participate in finance transformation, process improvement, and system enhancement initiatives
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
- Proven experience managing multiple overseas entities and cross-border accounting activities would be a plus
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is required
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Good Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
