Project Details
What We Need
- A minimum commitment of 3 months, volunteering 1-2 days a week would be required (10:00am - 5:00pm, 1.5 hour of lunch break in between)
- Receive goods deliveries, assemble and clean donated goods (mainly furniture) as required
- Organise and oversee sorting and storage of items according to category and destination
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with data entry
- Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse
- Support and guide fellow volunteers working in the warehouse
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination, inventory management, or logistics is a plus but not essential
- You will work directly with and receive guidance from our warehouse supervisor
Background
Thousands of individual and corporate donors have trusted us to ensure their quality items help those in genuine need since 1995. Any donated goods will be given to charities and individuals in need across both Hong Kong and internationally. As a Volunteer Warehouse Coordinator in our Incoming Goods Department, you will play a vital role in managing the smooth flow of incoming donated items. You will oversee the receipt, inspection, sorting, and accurate logging of goods, ensuring quality standards and efficient warehouse operations.

What We Do
