Role Summary
The ideal candidate will play a key role in the overall project management, ranging from tendering, budget proposal, design development to the execution of projects to ensure all site works are completed in a safe, timely, quality, and cost-effective manner.
Job Duties
- Responsible for handling electrical works in various types of buildings especially Fitting-out and Alternation and Addition projects
- Arrange Periodic Inspection, Testing and Commissioning (PITC) as well as routine maintenance work for all fixed electrical installations
- Prepare related documentation such as work proposal, technical submission, method statements, work reports, quotation etc
- Work closely with different stakeholders including clients, suppliers, subcontractors as well as project teams throughout the whole installation process
- Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams and subcontractors to ensure all site installation works are complying with contractual and statutory requirement
- Conduct on-site supervision and monitor work quality with subcontractors
- Attend emergency calls and perform overnight site work if required
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Electrical / Building Services / Mechanical or other engineering related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in E&M field, especially fitting-out, alteration and addition work
- Proficient knowledge of building services installation and relevant statutory regulations e.g., WR2
- Familiar with project coordination and site progress monitoring
- A good team player with agile mindset. Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills are essential
- Good command of both English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office Project and AutoCAD
- Candidate with less experience would be considered as Engineer
