The incumbent is responsible for performing daily procurement activities, supporting centralized strategic procurement functions for the Group, and providing professional advice to users on procurement matters to meet operational and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute end to end procurement activities for assigned categories, including sourcing and tendering, quotation evaluation, supplier negotiation, and contract administration, in compliance with company policies and governance standards;
- Act as a proactive business partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements, define specifications, and provide professional advice to achieve optimal value, quality, and delivery outcomes;
- Lead preparation of tender documents and drive commercial evaluation, analysis and reporting, providing clear and well-supported recommendations to facilitate decision-making;
- Support contract management and supplier performance monitoring, including maintaining contract records, tracking compliance with agreed terms, proactively identifying and escalating risks or issues;
- Manage purchase order issuance and follow through on order fulfilment, resolving delivery, quality, and commercial discrepancies to ensure smooth operations;
- Maintain accurate procurement data, documentation, and system records to ensure transparency, audit readiness, and operational efficiency;
- Support the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of procurement policies, procedures, and controls, identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency and compliance;
- Contribute to value creation initiatives, including spend analysis, cost optimization, and supplier engagement of assigned categories;
- Support procurement transformation initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned; and
- Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements :
- Degree holder or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, tendering, or purchasing operations, preferably within a corporate or multi-business unit environment
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools, including ERP platforms and e-sourcing or procure-to-pay workflows, with a focus on data integrity and process efficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage constructively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset, capable of building effective working relationships and supporting business needs
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical capabilities, ensuring accuracy in procurement documentation, data management, and reporting
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Candidate with less years of experience or qualifications will be considered at lower level of position
