About The Role
This role is a senior iOS developer position focused on building and enhancing a large‑scale, consumer‑facing mobile application used by a substantial user base in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for developing high‑quality iOS features, ensuring performance and stability at scale, and working closely with backend and regional engineering teams. The position is fully onsite on Hong Kong Island and offers exposure to enterprise‑grade systems and modern cloud‑based architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications for a high‑traffic, customer‑facing platform
- Build scalable and maintainable mobile solutions using Objective‑C and Swift / SwiftUI
- Ensure application performance, stability, and usability for a large user base
- Implement automated testing and follow Test‑Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Collaborate with backend, product, and regional engineering teams on feature delivery
- Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and production support
- Support deployment and operation of mobile applications integrated with AWS‑based backend services
Requirements
Must‑Have
- 3–7 years of hands‑on mobile application development experience on customer‑facing apps
- Strong iOS development experience using Swift / SwiftUI
- Experience working on applications deployed on AWS‑based backend environments
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience working on applications with a large user base and production scale
- Ability to demonstrate previous work through a portfolio or examples of delivered applications
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams
- Fluent Cantonese
