Role Overview

We are seeking two (2) Junior AWS Cloud Developers to support cloud-based initiatives under the direct oversight of METLEN. The selected candidates will be fully dedicated to METLEN projects, working within a structured and collaborative cloud environment.

This role is ideal for early-career cloud professionals with hands-on AWS experience, strong fundamentals in cloud development, and a willingness to grow within a demanding, high-impact setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications and services on AWS

• Support implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes

• Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud infrastructure

• Follow best practices in cloud architecture, security, and DevOps processes

• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in cloud development or related roles

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation or similar)

• Basic understanding of cloud architecture principles and distributed systems

• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js)

• Experience with APIs, microservices, or serverless architectures is a plus

• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools is considered an advantage

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Valid AWS certifications aligned with AWS competency standards

• Exposure to DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Additional Notes

• Candidates will work exclusively on METLEN projects under direct supervision
