QA Engineer

The Role

SCYTALYS is currently looking for passionate QA Engineer who will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, manual and/or automating tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and technical specifications
• Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly defined and testable
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis and issue resolution
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test reports
• Support regression, sanity, integration, and release testing activities
• Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks and test scripts
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in peer reviews of test procedures, documentation, and reports
• Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test documentation
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cypress
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Git
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
