Systems Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
- Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services.
- Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.
- Collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations.
- Ensure improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents out-of-hours.
- Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers.
What You'll Need
- National of an EU member state and residing in the EU.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
- Knowledge or experience in scripting (Bash, Python, or Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript).
- Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience operating 24x7 high-availability, distributed software applications.
