Good team, challenging work, room for improvement

Enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer at this Munich-based tech company. Great team environment and challenging projects. While work-life balance is generally good, there can be crunch times. Overall, a solid place to build a career in software development.


Pros

The team culture is definitely a highlight. Everyone I worked with as a Software Engineer was collaborative and supportive, making it easy to integrate into the Munich office. The projects are intellectually stimulating and aligned with current industry trends in enterprise software. Plenty of opportunities to learn new technologies and contribute meaningfully.


Cons

While work-life balance is generally respected, there are periods, especially around product launches, where overtime becomes necessary. This can sometimes be a bit demanding for employees in the Munich, Bavaria, Germany location. The pay and benefits package is decent but not industry-leading, especially compared to larger tech firms.


Advice to Management

Consider more consistent compensation reviews and clearer communication about workload expectations during peak periods to further enhance employee satisfaction.
