Introduction & Summary:
In this role where you’ll design, build, and support high-performance data platforms; migrate and decommission a legacy database and its application; and enable analytics, reporting, and real-time insights across Bioenergy. You’ll be part of a team, where you will develop, maintain, and optimize software interfaces that enable equipment to communicate with central control and reporting systems.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a C# application for scheduled data-processing tasks.
- Containerize the application and deploy it as a Kubernetes Cronjob.
- Design and implement end-to-end data flows for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Optimize and maintain reliable data-processing workflows for operational stability.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Strong C# skills to build efficient applications for data ingestion, transformation, and storage (file, DB, external sources).
- Experience with secure file transfers (SFTP) and Rest APIs.
- Hands-on with containerization and running workloads as Kubernetes CronJobs.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for automated build, deployment, and operations.
- Solid troubleshooting and collaboration skills to deliver reliable data solutions.
- Proven ability to design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions.
Other Details: The consultant is expected to conduct work from the specified location and is mandated to support the office for a minimum of three days per week.
