Location: Denmark. Hybrid work arrangement in Denmark, with some in-person meetings and event coordination when required.

Hours: 10 hours per week (increasing to approx. 15 hours per week in August–September)


About the Role

Program Development & Partnerships Coordinator to support the growth of our programs and partnerships in Denmark.


The role will focus on grant writing, partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination, with particular attention to preparations Girl Power events in September.


You will work closely with the CEO and COO to help strengthen partnerships, support fundraising efforts, and contribute to the development and delivery of Girl Power programs.


Key Areas of Work


Grant Writing & Funding Applications

  • Research relevant grants and funding opportunities.
  • Support preparation and submission of grant applications.
  • Assist in preparing materials and documentation for funders.


Partnership Development

  • Map and identify potential partners including municipalities, NGOs, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Support outreach and relationship-building with potential partners.
  • Assist in activating partnerships with municipalities and other stakeholders.


Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Contact and build relationships with schools, municipalities, refugee centers, and local football clubs.
  • Conduct stakeholder mapping to strengthen Girl Power’s network in Denmark.
  • Support coordination with community partners involved in Girl Power activities.


Program & Event Coordination

  • Support planning and coordination of the Girl Power events that will take place in September.
  • Help organize and coordinate sport and community activities leading up to the events.
  • In some cases, participate in meetings, outreach visits, and activities in person when needed.


Volunteer & Intern Engagement

  • Support recruitment and coordination of volunteers and interns.
  • Help identify young leaders and community supporters who can contribute to Girl Power activities.
  • Help develop Girl Power ambassadors and young leaders.


This role will play an important part in strengthening the partnerships and resources needed to grow Girl Power’s impact and successfully deliver our upcoming initiatives.
