Your new role
As a
DevOps Team Lead, you will play a key role in improving the developer experience at Dalux and take responsibility for running one of our two Developer Enablement teams.
You will lead primarily through technical direction, collaboration, and influence rather than formal authority.
You will have significant influence on how DevOps is practiced at Dalux, helping shape platforms, standards, and ways of working in an organization where DevOps is still evolving. Dalux’s current focus is to build, evolve, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines and support our infrastructure.
You will spend approximately
50% of your time on hands-on development, with the remaining time focused on
team lead responsibilities, including:
- Lead the team and and empower people to perform their best
- Coordinate tasks, sprint planning and ensure team meetings such as retrospective and post mortems are well facilitated
- Contribute hands-on while guiding the team technically, removing blockers and supporting engineers day to day
- Lead and prioritize DevOps initiatives that improve developer experience, CI/CD pipelines and shared tooling
- Promote good coaching, sparring and onboarding practices
Our DevOps platform and tech stack
We aim to build
reliable, repeatable, and highly automated pipelines, configured and maintained as code. Our shared and customizable build systems support a broad range of teams — from mobile and web applications to image processing and backend services.
Our primary technologies include:
- Jenkins (Jenkins Pipelines, JCasC)
- GitLab and Nexus (self-hosted)
- Docker
- Hyper-V
- Prometheus, Thanos and Grafana
- MSBuild
- NPM (pnpm and Vite)
- AWS (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation, S3 etc.)
Builds and tests are orchestrated using Jenkins, with code hosted in GitLab. Our platforms run on both
Linux and Windows.

Alongside the Developer Enablement teams, we have a large
DevOps Guild that supports the rollout of best practices and knowledge sharing across Dalux. Our development culture is pragmatic and agile, with frequent releases. We apply the same pragmatism to DevOps — once value is demonstrated, we move quickly to implement changes.
Your background
- You have an educational background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- Have experience from a key DevOps role
- Possess strong facilitation and planning skills
- Have a natural ability to create and maintain a positive team atmosphere
- Are able to understand existing workflows and suggest meaningful improvements to processes and practices across Developer Enablement in Dalux.
