Senior Software Developer (.NET/C#)

3Shape is looking for a talented and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our newly created Patient Engagement team. You will be part of building a new team with a heavy technical focus and will be part of accelerating development of an expanding suite of solutions, building a truly unique and best-in-class experience for patients at dental clinics worldwide.

The Patient Engagement team has been established to accelerate our development where the target customer is patients. Currently 3Shape has multiple teams that provide development effort for patient offerings. Due to market success 3Shape has reached with patient focused mobile apps we are establishing a team to focus on software offerings for patients. Initially a big part of this role will be leveraging the existing solutions and building a roadmap that is supported by 3Shape’s extensive software platform.

We are looking for a technically experienced developer that has a get-it-done mindset along with a great code craftmanship skillset. We expect that you will have opinions on how codebases should be built but that you are also diplomatic in nature as you will be working on shared codebases across teams.

You will help run the execution of the technical roadmap, be part of planning and will be one of the people for managing technical dependencies with other teams. You will become a key part of building the team’s culture and be part of shaping the path forward for the patient experience that we are building for the future.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional C#/.NET backend development experience.
• An extensive and strong backend engineering toolbox, alongside hands-on experience with ownership of all phases during software lifecycle: build, ship and running critical software in production.
• Experience with API design towards 3rd parties in a B2B or B2C setting.
• Ideally hands-on experience with handling sensitive data such as PII or EPHI information.
• Curiosity for modern engineering practices and willingness to keep up with relevant technologies and trends.
• Ideally experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Experience with core Azure concepts (networking, compute, storage, identity, and databases).
• Experience working across development teams. Both across internal and external teams and stakeholders.

Additionally, it is an advantage to have experience working with mobile apps or modern web development (SPA frameworks), BFFs (backend-for-frontend), WebAssembly, DOM optimization or other technically deep frontend ways of working could be an advantage due to stakeholders you will work with.
