Pros: I appreciated the hybrid model, which let me come into the San Francisco office a few days and work remote too. Most weeks were pretty close to 40 hours. My team was good about respecting personal time, which is tough to find in tech.
Cons: Sometimes project deadlines felt really crunched, meaning a few late nights were unavoidable for software development tasks. There's not much flexibility for last-minute personal appointments without feeling like you're falling behind. It can be hard to disconnect completely with constant Slack pings.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes so we don't have to scramble so much at the end. More clear boundaries around communication after hours would really help with employee burnout.
