This organisation is at the forefront of building robust IT infrastructures for major retail brands and offering independent digital transformation services across Europe, focusing on Cloud, Cyber Security, Data & AI, Communication, and Workspace.
The Role
- Develop and operate central Kubernetes environments, implementing self-service solutions for developer efficiency.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, monitoring, and tracing to ensure optimal service performance.
- Integrate security checks and Policy-as-Code directly into CI/CD pipelines and manage clusters with GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD).
- Advance cloud infrastructure and service automation using tools like Terraform and Controlplane.
- Provide technical consultation to internal development teams on cloud-native application architecture.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer on modern cloud technologies.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience with Docker images and Kubernetes deployment (e.g., Helm).
- Proficiency in modern automation environments, including CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and GitOps/DevOps.
- Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Telekom/STACKIT).
- Strong general IT knowledge in Linux, networking, PKI, and Identity Providers (IDP).
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and teams, fluent in German and proficient in English.
- A degree or vocational training in IT, or equivalent qualification.
