The Role
• Develop and implement high-performance applications for quotation and application processing systems, transforming business requirements into future-oriented solutions.
• Contribute to the technical backbone of digital solutions, from microservices to cloud infrastructures, influencing system speed, stability, and scalability.
• Ensure software quality through rigorous testing, identifying vulnerabilities, and proactively addressing bugs to maintain robust, secure, and high-performing software.
• Drive innovation by experimenting with alternative technological approaches and introducing fresh ideas to modernize the technology landscape.
• Collaborate effectively within an international team, communicating with business analysts, test managers, and stakeholders to find creative solutions for complex technical challenges.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) with at least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, JEE, Maven, Oracle, DB2, and Git.
• Experience with containerized applications, ideally including OpenShift and MongoDB or Eventing. Familiarity with WebLogic, Jira, GitHub, IntelliJ, and Eclipse is a plus.
• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken, with a passion for international collaboration and convincing argumentation.
• A growth mindset with enthusiasm for new technologies and a strong willingness to learn continuously.
