About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in C# and .NET to join our dynamic team in Grünkraut, Germany. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our proprietary measurement software M4P, utilizing technologies such as C#, WPF, and .NET. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, designing and implementing software solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of new sensors and measurement technologies. You will work closely with internal specialists and clients to analyze measurement discrepancies, support commissioning processes, and provide ongoing technical support, including on-site assistance when necessary. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field. Prior experience with sensor data processing, signal analysis, or industrial interfaces is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and WPF, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with version control systems such as GitLab, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, is essential. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are required to effectively collaborate with international teams and clients. Willingness to travel for customer support, training, or project implementation is also necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain measurement software M4P, ensuring it meets project-specific requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in requirement analysis, project planning, design, implementation, and testing phases to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Create customized software applications tailored for industrial measurement systems, ensuring compatibility with various sensors and measurement devices.
• Evaluate new sensors and measurement technologies, integrating them into existing software and hardware systems to enhance performance and accuracy.
• Implement bidirectional communication protocols between software and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to facilitate process control and automation.
• Analyze measurement deviations, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to optimize system performance.
• Assist in commissioning, acceptance testing, and provide technical support during and after deployment, including on-site customer visits when required.
