About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cloud Software Engineer with a strong focus on Kubernetes and modern cloud technologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing high-availability cloud services, automating service lifecycles, and enhancing our cloud infrastructure's efficiency and reliability. Your expertise in Golang programming, combined with practical experience in CI/CD tools such as Git, Docker, and ArgoCD, will be vital in delivering robust solutions that meet our high standards of quality and security. You will work within an agile environment, taking ownership of your projects from development to operational deployment—embodying the philosophy of 'You Build It - You Run It.' Your proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative services to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development with a strong emphasis on Golang programming.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including developing custom Kubernetes Operators.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and deployment automation tools such as Docker, ArgoCD, and Git.
• Knowledge of the 12 Factor App principles and best practices for cloud-native applications.
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs for service management.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to share knowledge within the team.
• Experience working in agile teams and embracing DevOps practices.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly available cloud services tailored to business needs.
• Create and manage REST APIs to enable seamless service lifecycle management for clients.
• Develop Kubernetes Operators to automate the lifecycle management of cloud services, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Continuously automate and optimize technical processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests to uphold high software quality standards.
• Take ownership of your projects within an agile product team, from development through deployment and operation.
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis to identify issues and implement sustainable, effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge, improve processes, and foster innovation.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud-native technologies and best practices, integrating them into our workflows.
