The Role
• Focus on backend development and financial accounting for a core product, evolving into a technical lead for architecture and implementation.
• Serve as a technical advisor to the Product Owner, contributing expertise in payment accounting, billing logic, and financial data models.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions with well-defined interfaces, translating functional and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and optimize high-performance batch and real-time processes for efficient large-scale data handling.
• Design, maintain, and optimize relational data models (Oracle SQL) and ORM mappings.
• Actively participate in an agile Scrum team, responsible for planning, delivery, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent IT education, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Proficient backend development skills using Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, JUnit5, and Cucumber.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting, payment processing, and complex business logic.
• Expertise in relational databases (ideally Oracle SQL Server) and ORM architectures.
• Proven experience in processing and optimizing large volumes of data.
• Excellent German and English language proficiency for international collaboration.
