The Role
- Design and implement individual cloud architectures for high-quality and sustainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure appropriate automation and seamless, auditable deployments and rollouts.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code, configuration management tools, and reusable deployment patterns.
- Enable reliable, secure, and cost-effective operation of software solutions using observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
- Stay current with advancements in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, sharing knowledge within teams and communities.
- Support technical sales with your expert knowledge.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level) for clear communication.
- Proven practical experience in DevOps and cloud ecosystem technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Practical development experience in software projects with a strong understanding of software architectures, security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- A deep understanding of DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Certifications for a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are an advantage.
