The Role
- Design and implement individual cloud architectures for high-quality and sustainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish appropriate automation, ensuring seamless and auditable deployments and rollouts.
- Enable reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operation of software solutions through observability tools, hardening measures, and cost/resource management.
- Stay current with advancements in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, fostering continuous improvement initiatives by sharing knowledge within teams and communities.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to the sales team during the technical sales process.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Computer Science or a comparable educational background.
- Excellent German and English language skills (C1 level) for clear communication.
- Proven practical experience in cloud DevOps ecosystems, strategically utilising technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and GitLab.
- Demonstrated development experience in software projects, with a strong understanding of software architectures, security, observability, and cost-efficiency.
- A deep understanding of DevOps as a philosophy and culture, with a passion for continuous development and knowledge sharing.
- Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are a significant advantage.
